This is the third guitar I built for Sal. This second-generation creation has a slightly smaller box - 16" wide by 2 -3/4" deep. It has an Adirondack Spruce top, split-block mother-of-pearl & abalone fingerboard, headstock & heel cap inlay. The ebony tailpiece & pickguard also have decorative inlays. The back of the
headstock is flamed two-layer veneer. Beautiful heavily
flamed maple are used for the back & sides.
